Ping is made by one person. Email reaches them directly.
Replies usually take a day or two, and always within 30 days for anything about your data.
The things people ask most
Stop sharing my location. Open the You tab and tap Pause sharing. It takes effect immediately, nothing is collected while it is on, and the people you share with are told you have paused rather than left wondering.
Hide from one group only. Also the You tab — you can withdraw from a single Space while staying visible in the others.
Delete my account. The You tab, Delete account. It is immediate and needs no message to anybody. Your location history, messages and memberships go with it.
Sign-in trouble. Ping has no password to reset — it uses Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google only. If sign-in fails, it is usually the provider rather than Ping; email the address above and say which of the two you used.
Before you write
Ping does not contact emergency services. SOS reaches the people in your own Spaces and nobody else. If you are in danger, call your local emergency number.
